Engadget被迫關閉了評論

【該評論已關閉】的特色式跟貼，看來已經不是網易新聞跟帖的專利了。就連國外非常著名的Geek社區Engadget也開始使用了這招來管制跟帖者的言論。“河蟹”精神文明之風已經吹向了大洋彼岸啦！呵呵呵！

這應該是Geeker們的大事了吧，可是我g了半天還沒有找到合適的中文blog對這起事件的描述，難道是我火星了不成？！

首先在digg.com上看到這條消息： Engadget turning off comments

然后，reddit.com上見到類似消息： Engadget is forced to turn off comments after insulting it's users.

上面說是Engadget在征求了用戶的意見后才做出關閉評論的決定的；可是下面的跟貼中亦有人說自己“被代表”了，因為自己還沒有看到哪里有征詢意見的地方，呵呵！是不是挺想我們的某些機構的辦事風格啊？！

雖然官方的態度很和善，但是據跟貼中的議論，這次的導火線是因為Engadget對Apple和iPAD做了過多的報道，引起了人們的懷疑和憤懣，認為它已經成了Apple的“槍手”和幕后炒作者。有人統計過，在24小時內編輯們共post了23篇與iPAD相關的文章，從而導致大家的厭倦和視覺疲勞。

借APPLE發布iPAD之際將流量CPM點擊率提高是可以的，但是這次似乎過多地追求了流量，所以流量也是罪。

似乎，這種場面在CnBeta上是經常上演的，所以我們也見怪不怪啦！不過，我還是很佩服那些漂e文的，很多意見值得Engadget反思這種類似于G-F-W的手段了。

Luckily, our commenting community makes up only a small percentage of our readership (and the bad eggs an even smaller part of that number), so while they may be loud, they don't speak for most people who come to Engadget looking for tech news. Regardless, we're going to crank things down for a little bit to let everyone just cool off, and we'll switch them back on when we feel like we've shaken some of the trolls and spammers loose from the branches (AKA swing the banhammer in our downtime).
